La Place Rendez-Vous Voyageur's under 18 girls team shutout Al Racquet Stringing 2-0 in Borderland Soccer League action last night.

Sara Roach and Courtney Roach provided the scoring while Ericka Moffat earned the shutout in net.


International Falls has ended its run at the Little League baseball central regional tournament in Missouri with a lost 13-3 loss to North Dakota.

The team was winless in four games at the qualifier to the World Series event.
