Local Sports for Friday March 30

Raymond Roy and his Fort Frances rink are in New Liskeard today for the start of the Dominion Curling Club provincial championship.

Roy won the title two years ago.

His foursome opens play this afternoon.




A provincial award for the Fort Frances Muskies boys basketball team.

The team has been awarded the Sportsmanship award from the Ontario Federation of Secondary Athletics Association.

The award relates to the teams recently play at the all-Ontario high school boys basketball championship.
