Local Sports For Monday November 25

Fort Frances Muskies boys hockey team captured a tournament in Dryden, beating Winkler 3-2 in a shootout in the final game.

Cole Tymkin notched the deciding goal.



The Fort Frances Muskies girls hockey team blanked the Thunder Bay Queen's Midget team 3-0 in an exhibition game Sunday in Thunder Bay.



Fort Frances Canadians AA midget team lost 4-3 in a game played against the Triple A regional team.

Brody McPherson scored twice for the Canadians with Connor Botsford adding the other.



Rainy River Voyageurs women's hockey team dropped a pair of games to North Dakota State, losing 3-2 Saturday and 2-1 Sunday.

Taylor Durocher and Jaylene Anderson scored in Saturday's contest while Taylor Dixon had the Voyageurs lone goal yesterday.



The Voyageurs men's basketball team split games on the weekend, losing to Gogebic Friday 82-59, but rebounding for a 112-103 win over Itasca on Saturday.

That being the International Falls Broncos girls hockey traveling to Baudette to the play the Lake of the Woods Bears.
