The Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs continue to celebrate their NCAA men's hockey championship.Joe Basaraba of Fort Frances says it was a great win in his first year with the team.
"I knew coming in we were going to have a great team," says Basaraba. "When we all came here last August, our goal was to win a national championship. Now that our goal has been fulfilled, it's been a pretty amazing feeling, not only for us, but for the program, the school and everything."
Basaraba says there has been a great response to UMD's win all through Minnesota.
Falls High School boys track relay teams finished first overall at the Warrior-Eagle Relay event.
The team earn first place finishes in the 4 by 400, 4 by 800 and 800, 24-hundred and 32-hundred metres sprint medleys.
