Fort Frances Lakers Byron Katapaytuk has been named player of the week in the SIJHL.

The 20-year-old forward registered two goals and six assists in two weekend wins

He's now second in league scoring with 35 points.




Fort Frances Muskies hockey teams face Dryden in two different rinks tonight.

The boys are home to the Eagles begin at 6:45

The girls will travel to Dryden.




Last night in girls hockey, Lakewood Tire Eagles blanked Kaemingh Esso 4-0 in a pee-wee division match up.

Annalise Hayes with a pair, Maighyn DeGagne and Kelsey Langtry provided the scoring.



The International Falls girls hockey team defeated Lake of the Woods 5-0.
