Local Sports for Wednesday November 30

Fort Frances Muskies boys hockey team needed overtime to defeated the Dryden Eagles at the Ice for Kids Arena.

Muskies won 3-2.




Fort Frances Muskies girls hockey team lost to Dryden 5-4 in Dryden.

Amy Penner, Shilo Beck, Kaily Greengrass and Ericka Tymkin provided the scoring for the Muskies.

Calie Clendenning stopped 33 of 38 shots in net for the loss.




International Falls Broncos girls basketball team opened its season with a home win over Ely 60-52.

Jenna Vergeldt led with 18 points and  16 rebounds.
