Local Sports for Friday July 15

Manitou Forest Products has moved back into a tie for first with Pharmasave in the Borderland Soccer League's men's division

Mike Sonnasinh and Tyler Barker provided the scoring as Manitou blanked Pharmasave 2-0 last night.

Emo defeated the Rendez-Vous Voyageurs 4-1 on the strength of a pair of goals from Nathan Bujold.



Fort Frances Lakers will begin preparing for the 2011-12 SIJHL campaign with a camp this weekend in International Falls.

As many as 44 prospects will gather at Bronco Arena beginning today.

Meantime, the Lakers have officially released a list of players selected in a draft earlier this year.

Five were from the Fort Frances Muskies with three selected from Minnesota High Schools.
