Local Sports for Tuesday January 3

The Fort Frances Canadians pee-wee team finished out of the medals at the Paul Bunyan International Hockey Tournament in Bemidji over the New Year's weekend.

The Canadians ended the tournee with a 4-3 loss to Brainard in the C-side consolation final.

This coming weekend, the Canadians host a tournament at the Memorial Sports Centre with teams from International Falls, Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay expected.
