Local Sports For Wednesday September 12

Golfers from Dryden High School dominated the second tournament of the NORWOSSA golf season, held at Little Falls Golf Course in Atikokan

Dryden led all schools in the team competition in both boys and girls while three of its golfers tied for first in the boys divisions.

Brandon Sinclair and James Brown had the best showing for Fort Frances High School shooting rounds of 83 while Evan Krassey of Atikokan shot a 90.




Falls High School girls swim team was edged in the pool by Chisholm in head to competition.

Sarah Todd in the 100 yard butterfly and 100 yard breaststroke and Breanna Shafner in the 60 yard and 100 yard freestyle captured the Falls only wins.

The Falls junior team won seven events in beating Chisholm.
