A two-time world curling champion from Thunder Bay is taking his skills and knowledge of the sport south of the border.

Al Hackner has been hired by USA Curling as a national team coach.

He'll be working with USA's high performance teams.




Lexi Erickson and Sydney Raboin finished 3rd and 4th at the Bagley/Fosston Invitational as Falls High School girls cross country run team finished 2nd behind Warroad.

The boys team was 10th out of 16 teams with Marco Griffith having its best finish in 32nd.




International Broncos girls volleyball team lost in 3-straight games to Lake of the Woods, 20-25, 16-25 and 24-25.

Reva Renollet has 8 assists and 7 digs while Hailey Fentem led with 9 kills.
