Local Sports For Tuesday April 30

T.J. Bernard was the winner of the Relay for Life 5 K held in International Falls on Saturday.

He finished the course in just over 21 and a half minutes.

Dexi Maxa, who was eighth overall, was the first female to finish.

About 50 runners took part.



The Central Canadian Junior A hockey championship for the Dudley Hewitt Cup gets underway today in North Bay.

The Minnesota Wilderness, representing the SIJHL, have their first game against the host North Bay Trappers.
