Fort Frances Muskies boys soccer team took over sole possession of first place in NORWOSSA play with a pair of wins yesterday in Dryden.

The Muskies beat Kenora's Beaver Brae 2-1 and Dryden 4-1 score to sit atop the standings with a record of three wins and a draw.

The girls are still looking for their first wins after being blanked by Beaver Brae 3-0 and Dryden 2-0.


Two members of the Rainy River Voyageurs women's softball team have been selected to the Minnesota College Athletic Conference's all-state team.

Danika Stelton was named to the first team while teammate Carley Lake selected to the second.
