Local Sports for Tuesday January 18

The Fort Frances Canadians Midget hockey team defeated the International Falls Broncos junior varsity squad 4-2 in a game played at Bronco arena last night.

Tyler Fontana, Brett Bodnarchuk, Ryder Woolsley, and Brandon McGinnis scored for the Canadians who take part in a tournament in South Dakota this weekend.



Tonight, the Fort Frances Muskies boys hockey team hosts the Dryden Eagles at the Ice for Kids Arena.

Game time is 7:15 p.m.



At Falls High School, the Broncos girls hockey team travels to Baudette to play Lake of the Woods.

The girls basketball team is home to Tower-Soudan - 7:30 p.m. at Falls high School.

The boys basketball team is at Hibbing.
