Local Sports For Tuesday January 8

Fort Frances Lakers returned to action in the SIJHL tonight with a home game against the Dryden Ice Dogs.

Lakers are currently tied for third, three points back of the Dogs.



There's lots of action involving the International Falls Broncos today.

The Broncos girls hockey team hosts Eveleth-Gilbert - 7:30 p.m. at Bronco Arena.

The boys hockey team travels to Virginia.

The girls basketball team is home to Warroad - 7:15 p.m. at Falls High

The boys basketball team is at Greenway.



Girls minor hockey back in action in Fort Frances last night.

In Peewee play, Lakewood Tire Eagles beat Kaemingh Esso 10-4

Annalise Hayes, Hailey Tucker, Lillie MacKinnon and Nadia Webb providied the Eagles goals.

Maighyn DeGagne, Maddy Morrison and Emma Cole scored for Esso

And in midget action, ACO Electric Chargers blanked Pharmasave Wildcats 2-nothing

Madi DeGagne and Taylor DeGagne had the goals.
