Local Sports For Wednesday January 23

The SIJHL is now a five team league.

The League has revoked the Duluth Clydesdales franchise due to a number of factors, including Duluth not being able to ice enough players on a consistent basis.

Earlier in the season, Sioux Lookout withdrew because of player issues.

The league is now looking at reworking the schedule.



International Falls Broncos boys basketball team defeated Eveleth-Gilbert 67-44.


The Broncos girls hockey team lost to Grand Rapids-Greenway 8-2.
