Local Sports for Thursday March 31

The Borderland Soccer League is warning there could be no season this summer.

The League will hold its annual general meeting in Fort Frances tonight.

It says the need to appoint a new executive and solidify its volunteer pool must first happen before any games can take place.




The Rainy River Voyageur's men's baseball team has captured both weekly individual awards from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.

Tony Zelazny was named pitcher of the week while J.C. Crane and Michael Dickerson were co-winners of the player of the week honours.

The team is in tournament play this weekend.



Falls High School boys track team finished 11th overall at an event Tuesdsay in Bemidgi.

Jake Jensen had the best individual showing with a 3rd place finish in the pole vault.
