Local Sports Update for Wednesday March 23

Fort Frances Muskies lost 4-1 to St. Thomas of Villanova this morning at the all-Ontario high school boys hockey championship in Toronto.

Nick Kaun scored the lone goal.

They're back on the ice against the number one ranked St. Mary from Pickering this afternoon.

The Northwestern Ontario all-stars have been shutout for a third straight game at the all-Ontario bantam championship in Thunder Bay.

The Stars lost 8-0 to Hamilton this morning after being whitewashed yesterday by Mississauga 10-0.

They play again tonight against Ottawa Valley.
