Local Sports for Wednesday September 7

International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team defeated Cook's North Woods High School in straight sets, 26-24, 25-12 and 25-18, for its third win of the year.



Falls High School girls varsity and junior varsity swim teams were outscored in head-to-head competition against Grand Rapids.

Rachel Adams in the 50 yard freestyle, Morgan Bruess in the 100 yard backstroke, Ashley Hasbargen in the 100 yard breaststroke and the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team earned wins for the varsity squad.

Taylor Hebner, in the 50 yard free, was the lone winner for the juniors.
