Christin Thompson of Fort Frances shot a second round 81 at a LPGA qualifying event in Florida.

She's 21 shots back of the leaders and sits tied for 225th overall.

The top seventy advance to the next level of qualifying.




Rainy River Voyageurs women's volleyball team lost in five sets to Central Lakes by scores of 15-25, 25-18, 25-18, 14-25 and 10-15.

They host Vermilion tomorrow.



Falls High School girls cross country run team is ranked eleventh among Class A schools in Minnesota.

The poll by the Minnesota Coaches Association comes following the team's first place finish in Ely Tuesday.
