Jack Mellstrom second goal of the game midway through the third period stood as the winner as the International Falls Broncos boys hockey team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to edge Lake of the Woods 3-2 in Baudette.

Erik Lassila had the other goal for the Broncos who are 3-0-1 in their last four games.



The Broncos girls hockey team lost to Hibbing 4-2, its third straight loss.

Fort Frances Lakers are on home ice tonight for the start of a home and home series with the Dryden Ice Dogs.

At a weekend hockey tournament in Emo, the Lakewood Tire Eagles defeated the Emo Express in the final 5-1.

It capped an undefeated run for the girls hockey team.
