Fort Frances Muskies football team looks for some revenge this afternoon as it opens the Winnipeg High School Football League playoffs with a game against St. Norbert

The 4-3 Celtics beat the 3-4 Muskies 36-0 at the start of the season.

Today's game is being played at Canad-Inn Stadium, home of the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers.




International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team entry in the Section 7-Double tournament was brief.

The Broncos were beaten by Hibbing in three straight sets in an opening round match-up.




Two members of the Rainy River Voyageurs women's volleyball team have been named to the Minnesota Athletic Conference Assocation's northern division all-star team.

Kelly Sorensen and Haylee Gates were both named to the first team.

The Voyaguers open their playoffs tomorrow.



Lakewood Tire Eagles defeated Kaemingh Esso 4-2 in a girls peewee game yesterday.

Annalise Hayes with the hat trick and Maighyn DeGagne score for the Eagles

Emma Noga had both goals for Esso.
