Local Sports for Tuesday October 18

Fort Frances Muskies running back Colton Craig has won player of the week honours in the Winnipeg High School Football League.

Craig carried 16 times for 134 yards and scored with 3 TD's in Friday win over Dryden.




More honours for the Rainy River Voyageurs women's volleyball team.

Kelly Sorensen was named Libero of the week by the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.




Action in the Fort Frances Girls-Women's Hockey Association saw Super 8 edge Kaemingh Esso 2-1 in a pee-wee division game

Siobhan MacKintosh and Brianna Dustin scored for Super 8

Jocelyn George had the marker for Esso.




Fort Frances Lakers are home tonight to face the Dryden Ice Dogs.

It's the second meeting of the season between these two teams.

The Lakers lost a 5-4 shootout in Dryden on September 20th that needed 14 players to help decide the outcome.

A Lakers win will move them back into first, one point ahead of Wisconsin.
