Two members of Rainy River High School badminton team missed out in the medals at the provincial high school championships in Stratford.

Skylar Aprin and Courtney Hanson were eliminated in women's doubles with a lost in the quarter-finals in the b-side of the tournament.



Fort Frances Muskies girls soccer team finished fourth at a tournament in Winnipeg, losing 5-1 to Kenora's Beaver Brae in the bronze medal game.




International Falls Broncos boys baseball team won its seconds straight Friday with a 5-2 decision over Mesabi East.

Pitcher Ben Humbert struck out 15 for the complete game victory.

The Broncos host Mountain-Iron Buhl this afternoon at Scheela Field.



Rainy River Voyageurs men's baseball team was swept by Itasca in the MCAC playoffs, 5-2 and 11-0.




A rough weekend for the Voyageurs women's softball team.

They were swept Friday by Hibbing, 3-2 and 10-1.

Then at a tournament in Grand Rapids, the ladies lost to Itasca 8-2.
