Local Sports For Wednesday November 21

Fort Frances Muskies split games on the ice against Kenora's Beaver Brae.

The boys team hung on for an 8-7 win in Kenora, despite a 3rd period rally by the Broncos.

The girls team lost their its first NorWossa game of the season, falling 4-0 to the Broncos on home ice.



International Falls Broncos boys hockey team defeated Virginia 4-1 in the final of the Iron Range Conference Jamboree taking place in Virginia.

Luke Spilde scored twice for the Broncos with singles from Jack Mellstrom and Erik Lassila.

The Broncos open their season next week.



Goals from Amy Auran and Hilary Fox gave the Broncos girls team a 2-0 win over Park Rapids.



It's week six of the Borderland Indoor Women's Soccer League with Boston Pizza still the only team with an unblemished report.

B.P. takes on Leon's Furniture who's still looking for its first win.

The league has also found a sponsor for its last unnamed team.

Team purple becomes Fit Lifestyles and Conditioning.
