Three area school teams are in the finals at the NorWossa A championships in Kenora.

The Atikokan Voyageurs reached the final in junior boys volleyball after sweeping Whitefish Bay in three game.

They face Thomas Aquanis for the title later today.

The Rainy River Owls, who earn byes to the finals in both junior and senior girls basketball, will face Thomas Aquanis for both titles.

The Kenora school reached the junior final after beating Atikokan 41-27 in a semi-final match.



The Borderland Women's Indoor Soccer League resumes play tonight after taking last week off for Hallowe'en.

The schedule includes a battle of unbeaten teams with Red and Black both leading the league with 3-and-0 records.
