Local Sports For Friday October 26

For the second straight year, the Falls High School girls run team has qualified for the State championships after finishing second at the Section 7A event yesterday in Cloquet.

Lexi Erickson in 4th and Sydney Raboin in 7th also head to the State finals November 3.



A busy weekend for Fort Frances Muskies sports teams.

The senior boys volleyball, and girls hockey teams are in Winnipeg for tournaments.

The Muskies football team is in Steinback in a quarter-final game of the Winnipeg High School Football League.



International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team is in Virginia to face Hermantown in a quarter-final match-up in the Section 7AA championship.



Fort Frances Lakers return home for a game against the Minnesota Iron Rangers.



Rainy River Voyageurs women's hockey team hosts a tournament starting tonight that includes the Confederation College Thunderhawks.

The Voyageurs open the event with a game against Queens - 6 p.m. at Bronco Arena.

The Thunderhawks face Minot at 8 p.m. tonight.
