Arpin Takes 10th Spot

Fort Frances' Steve Arpin guaranteed himself a spot in Saturday's ARCA Racing Series opener at Daytona Speedway.

Qualifying for the race today, Arpin finished 10th overall with a time of 50.049 seconds, less than half-a-second off the pace established by pole sitter James Buescher.

Tomorrow's race, which can been on Speed-TV at 3 p.m., will also feature former Indy Racer Danika Patrick and Nelson Piquet junior who raced for Renault in the F-1 circuit last year.
