Curling Update

The Tim Nordin rink has won its first game at the Northern Ontario men's curling playdown in Sudbury with an 8-2 victory this morning over Thunder Bay's Mike Assad.

Nordin jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two ends and put the game out of reach with two in each of the sixth and seventh ends, resulting in both sides shaking hands early.

The Stratton foursome will look for another win this afternoon in their game against Robbie Gordon of Cobalt.
