The Northland Cup boys hockey championship will be decided tonight at the Memorial Sports Centre.

Fort Frances Muskies and the Thomas Aquinas Saints of Kenora skated to a 4-4 draw in the two-game total goal series opener Tuesday in Kenora.



International Falls Broncos boys basketball team concludes its regular season with a game in Deer River.

They will open their Section 7AA playoff schedule Wednesday.



Several all-star honours for members of the Rainy River Voyageurs basketball teams.

Jeff Romeus and Joshua Pierre were both named to the men's MCAC's all northern team.

Kai Washington and Teaira Martin were selected first-team all-stars in the women's division.



Kids snowmobile racing is returning to the Borderland.

The Kids Championship Power Racing Organization of North East Minnesota will hold an ice oval snowmobile race March 9 at Thunderbird Lodge, east of International Falls on Rainy Lake.

Competitors range in ages from 4 to 14 in various categories.
