Local Sports For Tuesday March 5

Fort Frances Lakers forward Jordan Christianson has been named SIJHL player of the week.

In three outings this past week the 20-year-old from International Falls registered seven points on a pair of tallies and five assists helping the Lakers skate to a trio of victories.

It's the second time this year that Christianson has won player of the week honours.



Playoff action resumes tonight for the International Falls Broncos girls basketball team.

The Broncos are in Duluth to face Braham in the third round of the Section 7AA championships.
