Jon Carlson scored twice, including the game winner in overtime, as the Fort Frances Lakers came from behind to earn a 4-3 win over Dryden last night in Dryden.

Jacob Nolan and Merritt Rysavy notched the Lakers other markers.

The win helped extend the Lakers’ consecutive win streak to 11.



International Falls Broncos boys basketball team has advanced to the next round of the Section 7AA playoffs with a 73-41 win over Duluth-Marshall.

The Broncos now face Deer River in a quarter-final game Saturday at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
