Local Sports For Thursday December 19

Fort Frances Muskies girls hockey team improved its NorWossa record to 7 and oh with a 9-0 pasting of the Red Lake Rams.

Rachel Jean, Jessica Coran and Shilo Beck each scored twice.

Sarah Milling, Claire Sandelovich and Lauren Vold had the other Muskie goals.



The long time coach for the Fort Frances Aquanauts is now lending a hand to the Falls High School boys swim program.

Dawnn Taylor took over coaching duties this season.

The Broncos boys team dropped its first two events this week, but Taylor sees lot of potential.



International Falls Broncos girls basketball is host to Bemidji - 7:15 p.m. at Falls High School.




Fort Frances Muskies court teams are in Kenora today to play the Beaver Brae Broncos.

It's their last games before the Christmas break.
