Fort Frances Muskies girls hockey team beat the Red Lake Rams in a NorWossa league contest 6-1

The two teams play again today.




Fort Frances Muskies court teams took three of four games against the Dryden Eagles.

The senior boys basketball team scored a 70-48 win over the Eagles while the juniors held off their opponents to win 33-26.

The junior girls volleyball team needed four games to dispatch Dryden.

The seniors girls lost in five.



Falls High School boys swim team lost to Eveleth-Gilbert in head-to-head competition yesterday.

The Broncos won three events with Levi Lucy taking the 160-yard individual medley, Alex Belanger the 100-yard breaststroke and Ian Oucharme the 100-yard backstroke.



An all-star selection for a member of the Rainy River Voyageurs women's volleyball team.

Talitha Plate, a freshman from Deer River, has been named to the MCAC Northern All-Division 2nd Team.

Plate, who was named the team's MVP as well, averaged 5.2 assists and 2.3 digs per set while serving 93 per cent during the year.
