Fort Frances native Ryan Faragher is among this year's nominees for the Hobey Baker Award as the top U.S. college hockey player.

Faragher, who in his third year at St. Cloud State says its a great honour.

International Falls Broncos girls hockey team lost 3-2 to Warroad.

The Broncos girls basketball team defeated Eveleth-Gilbert 58-50 to improve to 9 and 3 on the season.



Voyageur basketball games against Northland cancelled Wednesday due to weather have been rescheduled.

They'll be played at Rainy River Community College next Wednesday with the women's game starting at 6 p.m. and the men playing at 8 p.m.
