Local Sports For Tuesday January 21

Fort Frances Lakers remain number 7 in the weekly Canadian Junior Hockey League top twenty.

They prepared for the SIJHL showcase which takes place tomorrow and Thursday in Spooner, Wisconsin.

The event gives the league and its six teams an opportunity to play before College and NHL scouts.



A pair of road games and a home contest for teams at Falls High School.

The International Falls Broncos girls basketball team is home to the Lake of the Woods Bears - 7:15 p.m. at the Falls high.

Meantime, the boys basketball team travels to Eveleth-Gilbert.

The Broncos girls hockey team is one the road to face Grand Rapids-Greenway.
