Fort Frances Lakers have slipped a bit in the Canadian Junior Hockey League weekly rankings.

The Lakers are now 7th, down from their number 5 position they held for several weeks.

The Lakers are in Thunder Bay tonight to face the North Stars.



A split in games on the court for the Fort Frances Muskies against the Dryden Eagles.

The junior boys basketball team beat Dryden 43-38 while the senior team fell 74-72 in overtime.

In girls volleyball, it was the juniors who were victorious, dispatching the Eagles in four sets while the seniors lost to their Dryden counterparts in three.



In International Falls, the Broncos girls hockey team is home to Lake of the Wood - 7:30 p.m. at Bronco arena.

The boys hockey team will try to snap a 3-game scoreless snap with a game against Eveleth-Gilbert.

On the court, the girls basketball team is at Warroad.

The boys team is home to Hibbing - 7:15 p.m. at Falls High School.
