Local Sports for Tuesday October 19

Fort Frances Muskies won the consolation side of a weekend tournament in Thunder Bay, beating Superior High 49-24.

Alanna Walsh was named team MVP while Courtnay Spade, Jessica Robertson and Sarah Glover earned player of the game awards during the event.

Wynona Cavanaugh was second in a free-throw competition.



International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team will be playing for seventh place at the Iron Range Conference tournament with a game today against Mesabi East.

The game's being played at Falls High School beginning at 5:45 p.m.
