Local Sports for Wednesday October 20

Three members of the Falls High School girls cross-country team earned all-conference berths at the Iron Range conference meet in Hoyt Lakes.

Amber Harms in tenth, Amy Auran, twelveth, and Sydney Raboin in fourteenth helped the varsity girls to a third place finish overall.

The boys teams was sixth with John Sobczyski missing an all-conference berth by one spot.

And John Bartkowski won the junior varsity race that saw the Falls team place five runners in the top ten.



International Falls Bronco's Volleyball team finished seventh overall at the Iron Range Conference tournament with a 3-set sweep of Mesabi

Scores were 25-4, 25-7 and 25-8.
