Fort Frances Muskies soccer teams split games played at the final regular season tournament of NorWossa.

The boys team beat Dryden 2-0, but lost to Kenora by the same 2-0 score.

The girls won their first of the season over Dryden 3-0 before dropping a 6-1 decision to Kenora.

Playoffs are next week.



International Falls Broncos boys baseball team swept games played against Mountain Iron Buhl.

The varsity squad struck for 7 runs in fourth inning for a 15-2 win in a game called after five innings.

The junior varsity team won 11-1.



In little league play in the Falls, Wherley's edged Energy Fitness Centre 7-6.



The Superior International Junior Hockey League could be on the verge of losing a team.

Officials with the Sioux Lookout Flyers says they need as many as five new directors before the can commit to next season.
