The Big Grassy Braves will look to put an end to the Rainy River District Fastball League season tonight.

The Brave faces Stratton Eagles for the league championship.

If the Eagles win tonight, the two teams will hook up one more time Thursday night to decide the title.

Big Grassy is looking for its first title win, while Stratton last won it in 1999.




Falls High School Cross country run teams have open their season.

Marco Griffith in 6th and Cade MacKay in 9th helped the varsity boys team to a third place finish overall at Thief River Falls.

Lexi Erikson placed third as the varsity girls finished third in its division.

The junior boys team was fifth while the junior girls squad had a 4th place showing first time out.
