Another defenceman has been signed by the Fort Frances Lakers.

Hunter Bowlin comes out of Burnsville High School in Minnesota.

Coach Wayne Strachan says Bowlin impressed at a recent prospects camp, playing through an injury for most of the camp.




Hockey's greatest prize is coming to Kenora this weekend!

Mike Richards, who played a part in the Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup win in June, is bringing the Cup to his hometown Saturday.

A celebration will take place at Kenora's waterfront from noon to 2 p.m.




Two days of registration for the Border Skating Club will be held in the coming weeks.

They'll be held August 29th and September 12 at the Ice for Kids Arena conference room from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. both nights.
