Local Sports For Wednesday October 3

A 1-2 finish for Lexi Erickson and Sydney Raboin helped give the Falls High School girls cross country run team a first place finish at the Titan Invitational.

Amber Harms, Amy Auran and Rachel Foss also had top ten finishes.

The boys team was second in its division with Cade MacKay placing 6th and Marco Griffith in 8th.




A member of the Rainy River Voyageurs women's volleyball team has been named Setter of the Week in the MCAC.

Nakita Estling, a sophomore out of Warroad, helped spark the Voyageurs to a 3 and 3 record at a tournament in Winnipeg.

She also surpassed the one-thousand assist mark in her career.
