Duncan Keith is getting ready for his shot at another Olympic gold medal.

The former Fort Frances native heads to Calgary this weekend for the starting of an orientation camp for Canada's hockey team.

Keith was part of Canada's winning team in Vancouver in 2010.



International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team lost a 4 set match to Mountain Iron-Buhl to open its season.

Scores were 25-20, 25-21, 15-25, 25-19.

Emo's Christopher Leek was third in the midwest modified feature and finishes third in points.

Cody Ossachuk of Pinewood was ninth in the same race.

Steve Nordin of Stratton was 6th in the modified feature.



First day of fishing the International Bass Championship goes today.

Duane and John Peterson of Bemijdi are the defending champs.

First day weigh-in's at Smokey Bear Park start at 4 p.m.
