Fastball playoffs are getting down to the final teams.

The men's league has Barwick battling Sight and Sought with the winner to take on Big Grassy Braves for the league title next week.

In the women's league, Red Gut faces Fort Frances while the Big Grassy Lynx face Couchiching with the winners advancing to next week's final.



High school sports begin for at least one team today.

The International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team opens its season with a home game tonight against Mountain Iron-Buhl.



In go-kart racing in International Falls from Tuesday, feature winners were Brady Nicholson in the beginner class - Jake Froemke in Junior 1 - Wyatt Boyum in Junior 2 - Aaron Nelson in the senior division - Chad Jonson (JONE-son) in Master class - and Mike Christianson in the Heavy division.
