Fort Frances Lakers dominate the first-ever season ending all-star selections in the SIJHL.

Lucas Debenedt, Mason Meyer and Cody Wickstrom were named to the first team.

Lydon Lipinski and Jordan Cartney were second team selections.

Wayne Strachan was also a first team selection for both coach and general manager.

Dale Cooper and Dwayne Sinclair were named the league's top trainers and equipment managers.



International Falls Broncos girls basketball team's season has ended.

The Broncos lost 62-53 to Barnum in the semi-finals of the Section 7AA championship.

Maddy Filipiak led the team with 21 points.



Rainy River Voyageurs men's baseball team split games with St. Lawrence of Quebec at its spring training games in Florida.

The Voyageurs won the opener 10-6 with Colten Boudreau going 4 for 4 at the plate and Talon Kunkel getting the win on the mound.

They dropped the second 12-5.
